Interviews with Celebrities and Physicians                 About Us

We have interviewed prominent actors, directors, writers, journalists, scientists and patients for this project. In the interviews, we ask about their careers, their approach to their craft, their views on the power of their art (or science) to shape opinion, and about how illness and disability have touched their life. We will also ask for a message of inspiration for our patients.

Why?
Because I believe it matters. Prominent artists, scientists and journalists are often among society's thought leaders and can have great influence on the opinions of both the general public and of their peers. How my patients are perceived and how they perceive themselves has a great deal to do with their health and sense of well-being and I feel that the role of the physician as facilitator, working towards better communication between artists, journalists and patients, is a natural one.
